so this week has most definitely been sock week
i have been dreaming about gloriously colourful, wonderfully woolly and warm socks. i have been furiously sock knitting, to the neglect of everything else basically. the good news is that i now have one lovely warm sock…….the bad news is i still have one very naked, and after the nice weather this weekend, oddly sunburned foot…..

please excuse the slightly very chipped nail polish – it has done nothing but rain here for the past couple of weeks so i have been caught off guard by the sunshine this weekend!
given that we’re a month into year of projects now i’m not really making too much progress – my only fo is one that was already a wip when i started! so that said what am i going to do…….sheepishly add another project to my list, that’ll work! have decided to try my first KAL and join the shawl for the fall KAL. so i’m officially adding the lintilla shawl to my list – because i just didn’t have enough shawls on there already!!
going to get using some of the lovely yarn i posted about on Friday. i’ve also decided my house is in desperate need of some crocheted bunting so going to add a couple of strings to the list as well – i ordered the lucy pack (from attic24) of special stylecraft for lots of crocheted lovelies so going to start on one for above my bed and one to brighten up my dining room.
given that it’s 1am and i have an 8:30am meeting tomorrow morning think it will be tomorrow night before i have a nosy round everyone else’s progress this week – something to look forward to
hope you’ve all had a nice weekend too

I love the colorway you are using! I am sheepishly adding a pair of socks to my list, promise not laugh when I finish them and an entire hockey team can fit in them.
haha of course not! I’m sure they won’t, and even if they did there would be one very happy hockey team!
I love the colorway of that sock. Very bright and cheery!
your sock is just gorgeous! WHat type of yarn did you use? It looks lovely and snuggly :O)
Have a nice beginning to your week!

thank you
it’s rico superba poems – looks so much nicer knitted up than it does in the skein!
Such pretty colours! I try everything to avoid sunburnt feet, it’s the worst.
Well done on the sock, that’s beautiful! Was the pattern trustworthy, in the end
?
haha yeah it definitely was! i just need to learn to accept that the pattern knows considerably more than i do!!
I love your sock
and yes I have had sunburnt feet many times and interesting tan lines depending on my footwear too!
I’m taking part in the KAL too.
thank you
hope you’ve been more successful in starting your KAL than i have today!
glad Im not the only one making very little progress, but at least you have a sock!
Love the colours in that Lucy Pack. Buntings seem to be the ‘in thing’ with crocheters lately. I’ve seen a few variations and they all look good. Will look forward to seeing yours.
Great sock. Have fun knitting the second one!
Poor feet! The sock is fantastic, no doubt about that!
